The original preparatory study in oil for the mural in St Luke’s Church, Leagrave, Luton (consecrated 1956. The work measures 65cm x 43.5cm. Framed with open aperture to back to display additional study verso. Additional note stuck verso detailing commission.

Condition: The work presents excellently. A short crack to the bottom of the board (unrestored to maintain integrity), slight bowing though image sits well in frame. Screw holes to edges (left visible). Newly framed. Professionally cleaned.
