Signed pastel, dated 1938, measuring 43cm x 38cm. Conservation mounted. Austin married Ada May Harrison in 1926. Ada was a scholar who wrote travel logs, children’s literature and critical works on Anne Bronte. I don’t know anything about his dog, Lido.
