Original signed ink drawing, probably published in ‘Land and Water’. Land and Water was the title of a British magazine best known for its commentary on the
John Nash was born in 1893 and was encouraged to paint by his brother, Paul Nash. He was on active service in Dieppe, 1916-1918, and was appointed an Official War Artist in 1918. His first one man show was at Goupils in 1921. Nash was elected RA in 1951 and taught at the Ruskin School and the Royal College. He died in 1977.
