Where noted, the Paolozzi sculptures are presented box framed.
Sir Eduardo Paolozzi CBE RA (1924 – 2005) was a Scottish artist, known for his sculpture and graphic works. He is widely considered to be one of the pioneers of pop art.
Paolozzi became one of Britain’s best-known sculptors, having taken on a number of large-scale commissions across the UK. The sculptor would work with plaster cast and wooden maquettes to develop the compositional details of what would become a large bronze. For an example of the complexity, please see The Paolozzi Ventilation Shaft.
